The Santa Cruz city council had a hard time deciding on a downtown library garage housing project manager… earlier this week.
The project manager would cost an estimated 240-thousand dollars to oversee the garage for the new planned library. City manager Martin (marteen) Bernal said the manager would help the city with specifics around the project.
But some council members along with many concerned citizens objected to the hiring of “griffin structures incorporated” and asked for more details.
In the end, the council voted to delay the hiring and requested city officials to give more detailed information on cost and funding.
