Cal Fire has created a map that shows evacuations with different neighborhoods and communities being listed in separate zones. Now that evacuations could be lifted in the next 24-72 hours, the sheriff’s office is asking for residents to find their zones to make repopulation easier.
How to find your zone:
- Type your address into the search bar in the upper left hand (on a computer).
- When your home comes up, click on it.
- A box will appear telling you exactly what zone you live in.
Alternatively, users may also zoom into where they live and click on their house without having to use the search bar.
Evacuations are expected to last for days, and for some who live high into the Santa Cruz Mountains, weeks.
