For those who are under current evacuation orders, and need short-term housing in Monterey county, the Asilomar Hotel And Conference Grounds is providing rooms for free. Evacuees need to check-in at the Monterey Conference Center or the Salinas Valley Fairgrounds in King City, to be directed to the accommodations. Meals are also provided there.
