Police in Hollister have arrested a man on murder charges in connection to a homicide on Sally Street.
Officers responded to reported shooting at around 5:15 a.m. last Wednesday morning. The incident took place in the in the 100 block of Sally Street. The victim, 44-year-old Daniel Cervantez, was pronounced dead by medical personnel.
Detectives later identified a suspect who reportedly got into a fight with Cervantez.
On Saturday, detectives found and arrested the suspect, 19-year-old Andrez Valencia. He was booked into the San Benito County Jail.
