The National Weather Service has issued a red flag warning for potential lightning storms. The warning is effective now through 5:00 PM, Monday. Fire and police departments in the cities of Monterey, Carmel, Pacific Grove, Seaside, and Marina, and other city and county resources, are fully staffed and prepared with coordinated plans to manage a potential weather situation on the peninsula.
