An announcement today from the Santa Cruz County Health Department that there have been two more additional deaths this week due to covid 19.
The death toll now in our county stands at eight.
Meanwhile, there are more details on the two covid related deaths last week. A male in his 60’s passed away from the virus and he was apparently suffering from underlying health conditions and did not seek medical attention.
In the second case, a female in her late 90’s had been hospitalized for over two weeks when she succumbed to the corona virus.
