Yesterday Carmel issued an order to fine beachgoers 100-dollars for just relaxing on the beach and you must wear a mask. Exercising on the beach is ok but no sunbathing or picnicking.
In pacific grove, face coverings are also required all over town and at the beach… subject to a 100 dollar fine. According to Monterey county administrators, these stricter rules are in affect to prevent the spread of Covid 19.
