SMALL BUSINESS COVID-19 VIRTUAL TOWN HALL IN SPANISH
WHAT – A virtual town hall to inform Spanish-speaking business owners about the causes, effects, and prevention of COVID-19 as they reopen. Latino business owners have the opportunity to ask their most pressing questions and share concerns. Critical information will be presented by Santa Cruz County health officials, including the Santa Cruz County Health Offices, County Food Licensing Department, Salud Para La Gente, and the City of Watsonville.
WHO – This townhall is presented in collaboration between Santa Cruz Economic Relief Council, Santa Cruz Community Foundation, Community Action Board of Santa Cruz, and El Pajaro Community Development Corporation, Salud Para La Gente, County of Santa Cruz, City of Watsonville.
WHEN – Thursday, August 6, 2020, from 6:00 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. via Zoom

WHY – As the number of COVID-19 cases continues to rise in California, business owners feel the pressure to fight against this pandemic while staying open. This town hall intends to ensure Latino-owned businesses have all the information necessary to be in compliance and serve customers while minimizing the spread of COVID-19.
