The investigation into the shooting death of a 28 year-old man is ongoing. The shooting took place just after 1 p-m (Tuesday July 28th) at the intersection of Mission Street and Fair Avenue. The victim was sitting in the passenger seat of a vehicle at the time. Anyone with information on this shooting, or the shooter, is encouraged to contact the Santa Cruz Police Department.
Parts of Mission Street were closed as the shooting was investigated.
