With the Cabrillo College board considering a change of the institutions name, many are left wondering how that process works.
In an interview on KSCOs Saturday Special, Madison Raasch, former Cabrillo Board Student Trustee, explains the process…
“That vote [recently passed by the board was in favor approved] putting together a subcommittee, consisting of 3 [Cabrillo College] members of the board, who are going to put together a process of studying the issue, receiving community input, and then they’ll [the subcommittee] will bring a recommendation to the board as to whether or not to change it”, Madison said.
Madison went on to say that “Ultimately, it will be a decision by the elected members of the board”.
