A vehicle crash left one person dead early Saturday in Salinas. Shortly before 2 a-m emergency personnel responded to reports of an explosion at East Boronda and Constitution Roads. At the scene responders found that a vehicle had collided with a light pole before catching fire . The driver died at the scene. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
