A fun afternoon at the Aptos skate park turned ugly earlier this week when two Asian/American kids were bullied.
The six and nine year-old brothers, who are half Causcasion, half Korean, were skate boarding at the park when other skaters ridiculed them by saying they were Chinese and were responsible for bringing the corona virus to our area. They reportedly told the pair to go away and leave the park.
Meanwhile… civil rights groups report that in California there have been over 800 reported incidents of civil rights violations against Asian Americans in the last three months.
