In Bay Area news… the city of Oakland reached a 32.7 million dollar settlement in the deadly ghost ship fire.
The December 2016 fire killed 36 people, most who were at the old warehouse turned artist colony for a dance party. The settlement money will go to the families of the victims.
All the victims died of smoke inhalation and were said to be trapped inside because of the lack of proper emergency exits.
