Officials say they have located 73-year-old Sara Youhas who was found dead near her home, apparently struck by a car. Youhas was last heard from on Tuesday night, the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday when it asked the public to help locate the woman. She lived near Bear Creek Road and Keller Drive.
Her body was found near Bear Creek, east of View Drive, California Highway Patrol said. CHP believes she was truck some time from Tuesday to Thursday
