Although Monterey County Supervisors have posited the idea of hair salons, and barbershops, serving their customers outside….it’s unclear if that can work. 1 supervisor has sent a letter to the Board Of Barbering And Cosmetology to find out if officials there are willing to re-word their certifications. However, even if they do, the ocean breezes could make it too difficult for cosmetologists, on the coastal side of the county, to work outside.
