During a special session the Santa Cruz City Council approved the 2020-2021 budget Thursday evening. The council voted unanimously approving the 336 million dollar budget. City staff will use the approved budget as a guide while considering budget reductions to respond to an anticipated 6 million dollar shortage which will be addressed later this year.
