A Corralitos man died in a hiking accident on Wednesday. CAL FIRE fire captain , 33 year old Captain David William Lutzwas killed in a hiking accident at Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park , according to a press release from Cal Fire San Mateo-Santa Cruz unit. Captain Lutz worked as a fire captain at the El Granada Station within the Coastside Fire Protection District. He is survived by his pregnant wife and three children.
