San Benito County Sheriff’s deputies have arrested a suspected arsonist. On Thursday, fire crews were called out to battle a blaze near Hospital Road and Colorado Way. The fire grew to 6 acres before being extinguished. Witnesses identified 43-year-old Robert Tanner as the person responsible for starting the fire. Tanner was arrested and charged with felony arson. Investigators are now trying to determine if is is responsible for any other recent suspicious fires in the area.
