Officials with the Target store chain said they plan to raise their minimum wage for employees to 15 dollars next month. In 2017, the retailer made the pledge to do that this year….and they now actually plan to do that starting July 5th…..which is a few months ahead of schedule. The new wage applies to 275,000 part-time and full-time employees.
Beginning this week, all workers will also get access to free virtual health care visits until the end of the year, regardless of their insurance plans.
