A Santa Cruz Deputy is now recovering at home after being released from the hospital. Deputy Alex Spencer was hospitalized after being shot, hit with shrapnel from an explosive device and hit by a car while investigating reports of an armed bomber on June 6th. Another deputy was fatally shot by the same suspect.
