Getting the urge to go camping? Eight state parks are set to reopen today and many are taking reservations.
After almost three months of closure many campgrounds will be open in time for the summer camping season. While most are in Southern California… little basin in Big Basin will open and Half Moon Bay State Beach.
The golden state has 280 state parks… with about 13-thousand campsites and park officials say they will begin the process of opening them up. For now restrooms and showers will be open but visitor centers are closed.
