Law enforcement is today continuing the search for suspected Paso Robles gunman, 26-year-old Mason Lira. The Monterey-area man is thought to have shot a sheriff’s deputy in the face and to have killed a transient, both early yesterday.
Lira was reportedly spotted early today in a Paso Robles service station and convenience store. Police rushed to the scene but did not capture the gunman. The overnight search was centered near Highways 101 and 46.
