As the Monterey County Superior Court begins to resume proceedings some have concerns. Defense attorneys are voicing concerns about how the novel coronavirus, and protocols related to it, could endanger not only the trials’ participants but their clients’ right to a fair trial. Trials have delayed since mid-March as part of the statewide coronavirus shutdown.
