At a Friday morning meeting the Santa Cruz County Board of Supervisors voted unanimously to send the county’s Stage 2 variance application to the state for consideration. Santa Cruz county now waits until the state approves the application before moving to Stage 2 point 5. If approved the county could allow restaurants to reopen with dine-in options with modification. In addition, barbershops and hair salons could expand services to customers.
