In state news… as the corona virus continues to ravage nursing homes and senior care facilities, the state is now instructing those facilities to test all patients and staff for Covid 19.
52-percent of all recorded Covid 19 cases in the state are in senior care homes.
100 percent of the staff will be tested each month but that could be more frequent, if required. Testing indicates many staff members at nursing homes are a-symptomatic and are infecting the frail patients.
