In a split decision, the 9th Circuit Court Of Appeals ruled late last week that the government’s emergency powers override what in normal times would be fundamental constitutional rights. Earlier today, Governor Newsom approved the state moving into Stage 3, the phase in which churches are allowed to re-open.
