In state news… over a thousand California pastors say they will not observe governor Newsome’s stay at home order and will instead resume in-person church services on may 31st.
More than 1,200 pastors signed a “declaration of essentiality” that basically tells the governor how the churches will re-open while implementing physical distancing and other precautions.
The attorney representing the churches says he expects an estimated 3-thousand churches will re- open on may 31st.
California has more than 85,700 corona virus cases and more than 3,400 deaths, according to data complied by Johns Hopkins University.
