Capitola’s Paradise Beach Grille Another COVID Casualty 05-21-20 03:21 DC

On Tuesday, the owners of Capitola’s Paradise Beach Grille notified their 73 employees that the restaurant would not reopen post-COVID-19.

Gary and Leslie Wetsel said they considered reopening but decided the restrictions on restaurants made it impossible for them to continue business. They say the restaurant is now up for sale.

The closure comes after 22 years in business. The Wetsels said they hope a buyer will devote the love and care they showed for more than two decades.
