People who run into participants sharing depictions of child abuse on a Zoom Meeting are encouraged to contact the F.B.I. Reportedly there have been nearly 200 reports of that happening in recent weeks. Sharing child sexual abuse material is considered a violent crime….even when it is shared “virtually”. To prevent such “depictions” from being shared in a zoom meeting, meeting hosts are encouraged not to share the link to the meeting in an un-restricted or public social media post. Hosts are also encouraged to manage screen sharing options….and change them to “host only” when they can.
