Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a woman on the same charges twice last week. The 2nd arrest took place on Thursday, after an employee at Safeway on 41st Avenue in Soquel alerted deputies to a suspected shop lifter. Officers then searched the suspects backpack and found over 1 thousand dollars worth of stolen items. Julia Jacobs was arrested and booked into Santa Cruz County Jail in lieu of 25 thousand dollars bail.
