Like most hospitals, Dominican Hospital placed a pause on Elective surgeries in the midst of a pandemic.
Starting today (Monday), those procedures resume.
Nanette Mickiewicz, CEO and President of Dominican Hospital said “We are thrilled to begin offering elective procedures once again. The safety of our patients and staff always come first.”
While every service will not be able to be immediately provided, those who have urgent medical needs will be handled first in this initial reopening phase.
Dominican Hospital continues to take significant steps in ensuring safe care, such as strict visitor policies, mask wearing, enhanced leaning, and rigorous social distancing procedures.
