The Monterey County Superior Court has begun issuing jury summons. Jurors are being summoned in anticipation of the resumption of jury trials starting in June. The county is implementingsafety measures and protocols to insure the safety of jurors, court staff, defendants, attorneys and judicial officers. Prospective jurors in high risk covid-19 categories may be allowed to defer their service.
