Starting today (Monday), Monterey County began offering students and parents access to the internet from a safe distance.
The buses are provided by Monterey Salinas Transit and will be placed throughout Soledad, King City, and Bradley.
Parents will be able to park in front of these buses so that their students may access their courses.
The Monterey County office of Education expects about 10 to 20 cars utilizing each internet bus in order to access virtual classes and educational content.
Here’s where to find an internet bus:
Starting from 9 AM to noon every weekday except Friday:
- Playto Plaza Store off Jolon Road in Bradley
From 1 PM to 3 PM:
- 441 Main Street in Soledad (Monday – Thursday)
- Jimenez Camp McCoy Road in Soledad (Thursday & Friday)
From 3 to 5 PM…
- Soledad YMCA on 560 Walker Drive (Monday – Thursday)
- Salinas Valley Fairgrounds in King City (Monday – Thursday)
Friday Only
- Salinas Valley Fairgrounds from 1:30 to 5:00 PM
