On Friday, El Dorado Café began offering dine-in service for the first time since the stay-at-home order took effect in early March.

The owner of this small diner near Placerville was reportedly on the verge of homelessness if their restaurant wasn’t back to full operation.

The first day of dine-in service brought a crowd that was four times the capacity of Café El Dorado.

The restaurant closed an hour early that day due to running out out of food.

While the local permit department sent a warning to this restaurant, the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office does not plan on issuing a citation.
