A shooting at a Salinas homeless encampment left one person dead and another wounded on Friday afternoon. Investigators say that a lone Hispanic gunman fatally shot a 23 year old male and wounded a 53 year old male during the attack in a wooded area East of the county yard facility between Garner Avenue and Laurel Drive.
