Although only a handful of pets have gotten Covid-19, Health Officials are now recommending taking extra steps to ensure the health of people’s pets, and extra measures to keep the pets safe from Covid-19. Healtb officials recommend Social Distancing for (and from) them, the same as they do for human-to-human contact. That means no interacting with animals outside your family group, and no letting people outside your family group interact with your pet(s). They further recommend keeping cats inside, and keeping dogs on a leash and not taking them to dog parks.
