Local Congresswoman, Anna Eshoo, who is the Health Subcommittee’s Chairwoman, has released the following statement in regards to president trump’s announcement that he plans to suspend u.s. Funding to the world health organization:
“We’re in the middle of a Global Health Pandemic that requires, above all, international cooperation to defeat. The last thing the U.S. should do is relinquish its leadership role on the World Stage by going it alone, and defunding the World Health Organization.”
