Surveillance footage is being reviewed to see how a fire began in a trash can at a Salinas Elementary school early yesterday (Monday) morning. The fire at Kamman Elementary School was called-in by a passer-by around 3 a-m. Although firefighters were able to put it out quickly, the building reportedly suffered minor damage. Anyone with information about this trash-can fire is encouraged to contact the Salinas Police Department.
