On Thursday, a driver for Monterey-Salinas Transit tested positive for Covid-19.
The driver reportedly came into contact with up to a dozen passengers while providing service for an appointment only fixed-route service offered by M-S-T.
Additionally, four drivers were sent home that may have had contact with the infected driver.
Facilities and buses for the transit agency in which the infected driver entered have been closed for deep cleaning.
Monterey Salinas Transit encourages their riders to stay at home and only use transit for essential travel.
