On Thursday the Santa Cruz Port District Commission held an emergency online meeting to expand emergency measure concerning harbor operations. Through at least June 30, 2020, and subject to extension as directed by the Port Commission, no late charges or interest will be added to customer accounts (landside tenants, slip renters, etc.), and no action will be taken to revoke slip or space licenses or evict landside tenants from leasehold spaces, for non-payment of rents and/or fees. Those financially affected by the pandemic should make arraignments with harbor officials.
