3 Monterey county sheriff’s deputies have joined more than 1200 county employees in working from home….however, for the deputies that’s because they may have been exposed to Covid-19 when arresting a suspected kidnapper Saturday night in the southern Salinas Valley. The deputies will be able to return to the field once the suspects they were in contact with test negative for Covid-19…..if they do.
A total of 1246 county employees are currently telecommuting.
