In Bay Area news… Due to the lack of commuters thanks to the statewide shelter-in- place order, those who must travel (for essential reasons or work) along the Caltrain corridor are subject to a second major revision of scheduled departures.
Prior to the weekend, Caltrain announced a schedule that drops all limited and baby bullet service.
This schedule cuts about half the normal weekday departures for a total of 42 daily departures. Meanwhile, weekend service remains in place.
Caltrain relies on customer fares to cover 70-percent of their operating costs.
Those who still commute to Silicon Valley and beyond are encouraged to visit Caltrain.Com to check the revised schedule.
