Several people have been injured, and 1 person died, as the result of a number of accidents on Central Coast roads this morning.
- A woman suffered fatal injuries just before 7 this morning when she was hit by a vehicle near the intersection of Arroyo Seco Road and Thorne Road in south Monterey county.
- A solo vehicle accident left at least 1 person injured on Highway 101 down near Highway 198…when that vehicle spun-out and went into the muddy center divider.
- And another driver lost control of a vehicle and it went into a tree adjacent to the Del Monte on-ramp to southbound Highway 101. That on-ramp is still closed as a result of that 9:40 a.m. accident.
