A portion of Highway 1 is scheduled to be closed in both direction during the overnight hours tomorrow and Thursday. The closure is expected to allow for roadwork between Ragged Point and the San Carpoforo Creek Bridge. That roadwork is scheduled to be done between 11:55 p.m. and 6 a.m. Although the Scenic Highway will be closed to travelers, emergency responders will be allowed through.
