A Salinas teenager has died after being hit by a car late Thursday. Shortly before 10:30 p.m, emergency personnel responded to the 100 block of San Juan Grade to find a 14 year old in serious condition. Witness accounts say the teen got out of a parked car and attempted to run across the street when he was hit by a passing motorist. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he died from his injuries.
