Shots rang out on the streets of Salinas around 10:30 last night. According to investigators, police were flagged down by a 20-year-old driver, who reported a passenger in the car had been shot.
The victim was taken to the hospital and died from their injuries.
It all started when three people were parked in a car in the area of West and Archer streets when they were approached by at least one male suspect who pointed a gun at the trio and ordered them out of the car. When they drove away, the suspect opened fire…. Hitting the passenger.
