As San Benito County deals with an increase in opioid and Fentanyl-related overdose deaths, a public town hall meeting to discuss the situation will be held this Saturday in Hollister.
The San Benito County Opioid Task Force told KION TV that Assemblymember Robert Rivas, representatives from Hazel Hawkins Memorial Hospital, first responders. officials with San Benito County Behavioral Health, treatment providers and community members will give short presentations and staff information booths.
The town hall will be held at Veteran’s Hall at 649 San Benito Street in Hollister from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday.
