Deputy SCPD Chief Named 02-04-20 06:40 S.S.

After  nearly  24  years  with  the  Santa  Cruz  Police  Department,  Bernie  Escalante  has  been  named  deputy  chief.     He  fills  the  position  that  Deputy  Chief  Rick  Martinez  vacated  when  he  retired  in December.     Escalante  was  named  at  yesterday’s  awards  ceremony.
