If you have ever wondered about the waiting list for a berth for your boats at the Port of Santa Cruz, probably shouldn’t. There are about 850 wet berths at the port and director Marion Olin says the wait can be from as little as two years to as long as 20 years. And that demand isn’t caused by people who want to live on-board their boats full-time.
The port also has about 200 spots for dry boat storage. Olin spoke on Good Morning Monterey Bay.
