A 58-year-old Salinas man has been found guilty of hit-and-run driving, driving while under the influence of alcohol, and driving with a blood alcohol greater than .08.
Officials say on April 25th, 2019, George David Nunez collided into a traffic signal pole at the intersection of E. Alvin Dr. and N. Main St. and then fled the scene.
A breath test showed his blood-alcohol level was .12%.
Nunez, who faces up to a year in jail, will be sentenced on January 31st.
